It's one of those weeks where even to write about what is in store for us in the cinema is like trying to push me through a garden hose. The thought of Larry Crowne, Monte Carlo, and Narnia: The Voyage of the moose ... er the moon makes me want to take a nap. The prospect of actually sitting through them, however, makes me want to hide behind the sofa until everything blows over. There is not even titles of art / indie to lighten the dark perspective.

Well, let's move on. And as it happens first, we might as well tackle M. Bay’s 157 minutes of intellectual assault and property damage right away. I refer, of course, to Mooseformers , which opens on June 29 in order that audiences can be assured of getting every ounce of Shia LaBeoufish goodness out of the thing before the Fourth of July weekend is but a dim memory. I thoroughly detested the first two movies in this marketing empire, so I’m not expecting to feel any differently about the third. Getting rid of the jive-talking Autobots was a good idea. (Bay has, in fact, offered a $25,000 reward to anyone who can spot the duo in this entry.) Getting rid of Megan Fox is neither here nor there, however. Presumably, this is easier said Victoria model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley secret, "Raise your buttocks closer to the goal." It's always about cars that transform into giant robots and destroy buildings, it still stars LaBeouf and is still run by the worst insurance company nightmare.

I realize that there is a market for jazz Transmoosers and I'm not her. That's right. There are many things out there that I'm not the Marktplatz.Most of them, however, have the decency not to be over two and a half hours long and are not based on a toy line. When the early reviews good start to melt, even though I am considering escape gushy remember Roger Moore quote, "provides the popcorn in huge hand fulls of fun," if I can use it on him the next Once I see it.

At least Tom Hanks socially relevant rom-com Crowne Larry has the courtesy to be a mere 99-minutes. That means he is likely to be good is an entirely separate question.
