All day Fox28's Trevor Shirley planned a story about Mishawaka Garrett Gingerich, who works as a marketing director by day and rides bulls by night.
But that story changed in a heartbeat Friday night at the St. Joseph County 4-H Fair.
Right after coming out of the chute, he fell off the bull, and got stepped on!
An ambulance was called to take Gingerich to a local hospital.
Gingerich was conscious.
In fact, he was talking and even joking about the whole thing.
No official word on his condition tonight.

We are really looking forward to this year’s fair (July 22 – 30) , not only will we be talking with visitors at our commercial exhibit in Building E, but people will be enjoying our Soup Of Success “Double Chocolate Mint Cookies” in the grandstand!
We are thrilled to be partnering with the 4-H Junior Leaders this year. The amazing kids in the 4-H Junior Leader club were awarded a grant and have purchased ingredients for our chocolate mint cookies, assisted us in packaging the mixes and now will be selling them in their concession booth as well as the grandstand all week! On top of that, they also packed food boxes for home bound seniors, and Mary Ann Leinhart Cross from the Purdue Extention Office came and presented the “Real Colors” program to the participants in the Soup Of Success program.
