But in a recent radio interview, Paisley said he was influenced this time by other genres. "People like Eminem, Kanye, Jay-Z and people will do stuff that incorporate a female singing some lyrics, where they sing this part that's sort of from the woman's perspective," Paisley said. "And I thought that's an untapped thing that we need to try a little more of in this format, I think, which is an actual duet written to be that, that doesn't work any other way." I don't care where Paisley got the idea. I'm just happy he got it, because this song is one of his best ever.

Try getting to the point where life doesn’t matter, your family doesn’t matter, your friends don’t matter, the future doesn’t matter, and then you can laugh at someone who is suicidal or commits suicide.. It’s not funny at all. Nor do you have any right to say they were just arrogant. You have no right to judge people like that, even if it’s just a song, cos it happens in real life too.
@maritza565 hahahah it is actually funny if you think about it they make it all seem sad and all but in reality its 2 stupid people who were still in love but too arrogant to admit i. and about two drunks who commited suicide….u said u hope that one guy went to hell well im pretty sure laughing at a sad attempt to make a touching song isnt a sin but suicide is so yeah haha.

Romeo and Juliet were ALWAYS in love, because of their parents they were forced to split and when Romeo took a sleeping aid Juliet thought he commited suicide and she too commited suicide, when Romeo woke up and realized what had happend he too commited suicide. In this song the man is in love with the girl and he drinks himself into more heartache and commits suicide, the girl is lonely and commits suicide too.
