Page aunt, Betty Tompkins Hunley (Designs Betty Hunley) created the pre-cut, scalloped pink and green invitations, which announced the reason for the party and sets designed and built by deb mom Elinor Dorsey.
Custom banners, sewn by Bonnie Kate Kutchen Covington and announcing the winners, were hung on the entrances to the country club.
"I feel like I just came Ladurée" was the comment of a guest at first, which refers to the pastry Emporium in Paris as she looked pretty on the premises. Tents in the ballroom and the room were adorned with tassels desserts and tables were covered in cake and candy towers in shades of pale pink, celadon, blue and light. The old candy was displayed in apothecary jars.Embellishments fireplace and table were "woven" in gold adorned with towers and white gerberas pastel satin ribbons and stacked packages wrapped in pink and green motif favored the sweet-shop.
All the while, the customers themselves contributed to the sweet treats in small white bags that were stamped with the words "Thank you. You're nice. "Offerings were more different food stations that served pork loin, the fingers of fried eggplant, spinach salad, steak tartlets, sundaes, and thematic Joan Farrell-Mathis cookies.
The salvation of clothing was also one of sweetness and femininity.Elinor Dorsey turned into a dress that was designed Lotusgrace golden color, a shoulder and shaped with a large bow. Deb daughter Ellie added two sentimentality and style. She wore a pink strapless dress Victor Costa, with flying that belonged to her mother in the 1980s.
Milly of New York was the designer of Jennifer Tompkins dress, spring green and a white strapless. Page made his rounds in a white shoulder BCBG Fashion with a flower detail at the shoulder and hem. The two fathers wore white linen suits and matching pink and green striped ties from Brooks Brothers.

, Bobbie Ann Mason edition is now available at University Book Store Shepherd (see http://www.shepherdbook.com/). This last book of the collection presents a selection of stories, essays, poetry and photographic art, which provide readers with an extraordinary view of language, storytelling, cultural traditions and heritage of the Appalachian-Appalaches work and live in the area yesterday and today.
As with every previous volume, a common center is provided by the literary art and talent of the 2010 Appalachian Heritage Writer in Residence at Shepherd University and winner of the Kentucky Heritage Writer-writer Bobbie Ann Mason. Mason's work brings to the literary life of the common people and the daily life of classes, learning, and trying to cope and survive in the complex world they find before them.

Storytellers, poets and essayists of Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, West Virginia and other states in the region are also published in the book, supported by the West Virginia Center for the Book and The Shepherd of the University of Foundation.The candidate's work Pushcart Justin Anderson, as well as award-winning poet Mark Defoe, Llewellyn McKernan, Lena Cantrell McNicholas, Edwina Pendarvis, Sue Argent and through other pages of this volume, as do the photographic art of some of the best photographers in the region.
Readings of the anthology will be September 27, 2011, at 19:00 at the Centre Byrd legislative Shepherd University, and a reception for writers and artists of photography in the volume will follow at 8:00 p.m. at the Scarborough Library Reading Room .These and other writers will be part of Project 2011 Appalachian Heritage and Festival.
