Lottery organisers in the UK have announced expansion plans for the National Lottery , which could ensure the lottery organisers tenure for the next five years. The proposal is part of the long-term plans of the lottery operators to make the many lottery draws in the UK accessible for all lottery players. The proposal is that if the lottery operators were to be granted an extra five years, they would install an extra 8,000 lottery terminals around the UK, concentrating on rural areas and post offices.
The expansion by the National Lottery operators could mean as much as £1.4 billion in good causes and £600 million in lottery duty, over the next twelve years, according to the experts and this is the case put forward for the progression of the lottery company into the next tenure.
Online lottery ticket sales are booming, but still there are a small proportion of lottery players in more remote areas of the UK who complain about problems buying lottery tickets. These plans by the National Lottery would make it easier for players to buy tickets for all the lottery games – including Lotto, Euromillions and Thunderball – wherever they are in the UK, ultimately meaning more sales, and more money for charity!
This could be the cherry on the cake to secure the lottery operators new tenure into the next five years.
